i4KIDS Europe

Building and inclusive paediatric innovation ecosystem across Europe

i4KIDS-Europe is a European Union-supported initiative aimed at strengthening paediatric healthcare innovation by creating an inclusive, interconnected ecosystem that connects stakeholders from all regions of Europe. The project addresses key barriers that hinder innovation—such as fragmented networks, limited collaboration, and uneven access to resources—so that children’s health innovations can be developed, shared, and scaled more effectively across the continent.

By analysing the landscape of paediatric innovation and understanding the needs of underrepresented regions and organisations, i4KIDS-Europe fosters capacity building, cross-border cooperation, and stakeholder engagement. The initiative supports training, networking, and knowledge exchange to ensure that innovations designed for children’s health can advance from concept to impact.

Through its collaborative, pan-European approach, i4KIDS-Europe contributes to more equitable access to paediatric innovation and strengthens Europe’s ability to meet the unique health needs of children and young people, regardless of geography or socioeconomic background.
