ADD4Kids

Accelerating Demand-Driven Tools for Paediatric Innovation Adoption in Europe

ADD4Kids is a 12-month European Union-funded initiative focused on bridging the gap between paediatric healthcare innovation and its real-world adoption within health systems across Europe. The project aims to identify, optimise, and promote the use of demand-driven financing instruments and tools to support the coordinated uptake of paediatric innovation that address unmet clinical needs.

By bringing together children’s hospitals, policymakers, innovators, and funders, ADD4Kids has developed a European Action Plan for Paediatric Innovation. This roadmap provides practical recommendations to overcome structural barriers, reduce financial risk, and support the coordinated adoption of innovative technologies and practices that address unmet needs in paediatric care.

AAD4Kids contributes to more efficient, equitable, and sustainable healthcare systems, ensuring that children and young people across Europe can benefit from high-impact health innovations.
